Joan must have thought I was fool when I thought the paperwork was done. The first manila envelope was just a warm up to the real forms; kinda of like a pre-game stretch. The first set of forms were elementary compared to the second set we FINALLY completed. Yup that is right today we completed our second manila envelope. This envelope was a doozy. It consisted of 22 essay questions ranging from our parenting philosophy to the way in which our faith will impact our child rearing. Gone are the days they ask for our address, and reason to adopt! One thing it did ask was for us to describe the positives and negatives of our spouses and it was a huge reminder as to how blessed I am to be married to Marc…I really did have a near impossible time trying to come up with a negative characteristic. He really is a perfect husband, daddy, friend, son and uncle. That was the easiest question to answer and I could have writen pages! I could not have asked for a better daddy for our children.

So as of today we have completed all paperwork required by Hope Adoption Services (this is our agency in BC)…next step is home study and application process for Shepherd Care (Florida adoption agency), which I am sure will include numerous manila envelopes!

Jacob prayed for you tonight at dinner tonight baby, he asked that you come soon.
