So the next few blogs will be a bit like a confusing movie where they start half way through and work there ways back to the beginning.
When we first started the adoption process I started a journal; so I am going to take a few of the entries from the beginning and post them, before we get to where we are now…
August 14th, 2009
Well not only is today Marc and I’s 10 yr anniversary it marks the day that we officially started the adoption process.
Today we attended the required day seminar through Hope adoption agency…the first step in many on the adoption Journey. While I was comfortable and confident with the process and was always interested in a USA adoption Marc was still uncertain. Today’s seminar put us both on the same page and got us both excited for the adventure we are about to embark on. While it is scary as there is so much unknown, we are excited about this new path we have decided to take. I know there will be times that we stumble and may even fall, there will be moments of fear and moments of frustration but we will not allow these emotions to overshadow the JOY, Anticipation, Hope and Love this process will bring. We look forward to the day when we can bring our child home and ask that God grants us the courage and peace until this day arrives.
